Dear Friends, Good Governance is right of every citizen. The problems of poverty, illiteracy, lack of health services, widespread corruption, rising violence and criminalization are system failure indicator. The solution is that we choose our representatives the honest, loyal and the people who dedicated to public services, that people who run society according to law and constitutions. This can only be done when we vote for them. I urge to people to vote without any fear because it is our basic right.

‘Aapka Vote, Aapki Taqat’ campaign reaches Delhi

New Delhi, May 02: In its bid to motivate the electorate to vote in the Lok Sabha elections, Zee News on Saturday reaches the national capital with India’s biggest and widespread initiative, ‘Aapka Vote, Aapki Taqat’, with the support of the Election Commission of India.

With its initiative Zee News plans to motivate citizens, especially the youth, to exercise their ‘Right to Vote’ judiciously.

To make the campaign a success the channel has partnered with nation’s leading youth organisation NYKS (Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan) in partnership with NSS (National Service Scheme) and social organisation like ABJCM (Akhil Bharatiya Jan Chetna Manch). The campaign is also supported by Times Foundation “Sahabhagi”.

The nationwide campaign is asking the youth to register and enrol in the campaign. Later, the youth would also be asked to put their signature and pledge to vote as their duty towards the nation.

The event in Delhi would comprise skits by students of Lady Irwin College and other Delhi University colleges to generate awareness about the importance and significance of voting for a better tomorrow. Finally, the activities will culminat with a ’Candle March’ that will attempt to encourage people to take pledge of casting their vote judiciously.

The channel will also organise an interactive session with Election Commissioner SY Quraishi, Magsaysay Award Winner Rajinder Singh, famous actor Roshan Seth, noted journalist Prabhash Joshi among others.

Dear Friends, NIPCCD, Govt. of India organized two days seminar on RTI Act. I invited there as a resource person. I met there the PIO of the Govt. Departments and NGO who were coming from parts of the country. It was really a good experience and I really like it. The people should know about the RTI Act and use it so that the corruption from the Govt. Departments should be removed.

But still I want to mention that it is effective in delhi .. My team find it difficult to use it in maharastra.
